Last week was a busy week for this vato. Preparations for finals
blocked any real guitar works, although recordings did happen,
the new material was embarrassing at best. To alleviate this disappointment,
I have upload two new pieces today:
Three has been reedited in Soundforge with only a mild reverb
effect. I had felt a lot of the guitar work was lost in the chorus,
flange, effects blitz the original had contained and I thought
a more clean sound demonstrates the guitar work far greater than
the first release.
Lost Suite Variation is just that, it was composed around late
June as an expansion of my first
suite draft. I cannot recall why I did not upload this piece
for it contains some truly exciting guitar work, very clean and
crisp, especially the finale, nevertheless, it has found its way
here on the WIP page, even though this piece is technically an
outtake.
11/26/02- Finally, some time to release some new music
as I had promised yesterday. I call this one "Three,"
being that it has three distinct movements. Nothing really new
here folks, but at least it shows promise, in that, I am learning
how to be a competent electric guitar player again.

Okay, I did not die! I had every intention to getting two new
pieces out before the weekend, but with Hector's wedding, everything
stopped for a few days. Drum roll please...
I have realized that people want speed, yet they hated real player,
so realizing this, I have converted all my demos into three easy
formats for any and all that are interested in my latest guitar
works. Today, I have uploaded a revision of Second Revisited.
This one I highly recommend because it features two guitars. I
used Sound Forge studio to create two guitars, in stereo, one
playing backwards in the background and the other drenched with
effects. I hope you enjoy this recent incarnation of Second, but
by all means, download the guitar
video which features a more impromptu guitar work.
11/15/02-
In the process of releasing multiple formats of the new music.
Being a lot of people have complained about the download time,
which happen to be the same people that complained about the real
player format, so I thought I would add the Window media player
(WMA) format also for those that want significantly smaller file
sizes which means a lot less down load time.

Keeping the ball rolling, I uploaded two new guitar works. The
first being, November solo, which has a nice solo complete with
delay and distortion. The other is entitled"easy" being
I used extremely easy bar chords mixed with not so easy scales,
check them both out and thanks for the overwhelming interest into
my November medley. Yet my friend JD recognized the merit of October
demo, which I went back and realized that piece was not bad either,
but believe it or not, I I really enjoyed the guitar work in "Surf,"
so thanks for the continued support and be patient because it's
only a matter of time before this project is completed.
11/07/02- Damn, when someone gets
a life, that is college and other things, the guitar is one of
the first things I put down. Yet I have three pieces to unveil
today.
October Demo, November Lead, and Medley are the new compositions
for the months of October-November. I highly recommend November
Medley, it is my best guitar playing post-Mariachi.
10/24/02-
Created a work in progress page for my second collection of music.
Hopefully before the end of next week, I will finally compile
a set list for album number one and begin this project anew.
Damon's
Boogie is all chords and the backbone rhythm section for a
future piece that will feature a clean solo guitar. This tune
is my new starting point for this project.
Short
Boogie was the idea that grew into Damon's Boogie. For those
that just want an idea of the chord structure.
Screwing
up is just me messing up on the guitar, which is entirely
for humor sake.
Mondo
III is just that, which far exceeds the other two. WARNING:
Turn down the volume on your computer. You have been warned! For
those that love electric guitar.
Oriental
III is me using an effect similar to my other Oriental pieces,
yet this one is much more incomplete and the main theme is still
severely underdeveloped but these are just sketches so let it
be!
New
Board is me learning how to use my new tools, only die hard
guitar players will understand the growing pains of mastering
new equipment.
