When the body has had the vitals removed, and dried from the natron process, it is then cleansed and prepped for the wrapping of the body. Bandages, usually of fine linen, depending on the status of the individual, are used to wrap the decreased in a careful ritual performed by a high priest. In pacific places within the bandages, amulets are placed alongside with charms to aid the journey into the underworld for the Last Judgment. While the priest does this ceremony, spells are chanted and the book of the dead is read.
