Ka Statutes

The Ka spirit was a person's double and needed a physical worldly object, such as a mummified body, to return to within the individual's tomb. While the mummification process ensured the Ka a body to join with it for all eternity, just in case the body was desecrated beyond recognition, or damaged in any way, Ka statutes could be used in the body's place for the Ka to return to as a last resort. These statutes were usually idealized, but do bare a likeness to decreased, and are a marvel to the eyes.
