Themes
(9:38) -
Recorded sometime in 1997, this piece showcases my skills as a competent
acoustic guitar player. Using only my handmade Alvarez, and recorded
on a cheap Technic tape deck, four themes are represented in styles
ranging from classical, jazz, and rock.
I. Introduction (4:00)
II Second Movement (2:46)
II Allegretto (0:54)
IV Finale (1:48)
Suite
I (5:40) -
My suite number one was one of the few pieces that had been labored
over for almost a year. After countless takes from November up
to the late 2002, this session taken from February tenth is a
real gem from the laborious composing and replaying over the past
year and a work that is more than just a showpiece but a real
composition.
Three
(7:09)-
1. A minor Introduction (4:23)
2. Andante 4:24-605
3. Finale 6.06-7.09
After my mariachi sessions in late August 2002, as a guitar player
I had struggled to play more complicated sound structures. Three
came from a November session and was originally being held for
my compilation of guitar works, however, I feel this piece fits
into my passion of the A minor idea and ultimately used on this
set.
