Thanks-
First
and foremost to my father, for it was by him that the guitar was
taught and encouraged with his unrelenting sense of discipline
and for his own impeccable ability.
Very
cordial thanks to J.D. for constantly bitching, "When it
is going to be done and when is the DVD coming out?" Blame
him if you do not like the disc, I took his advice and finished
the blasted thing! Thanks for the words of inspiration and support,
the ideas (lyrics, yeah right?), and a very patient listener to
the numerous tracks that did not make the cut.
To
Ana for allowing me to grow as an artist with a passion unbound
and a remembrance of the ambition that had long waned some years
ago and her ability to always make this vato try harder. If you
are reading this Ana, wait for sometime in 2003 which will yield
more pieces inspired by our time together. And no, there will
not be a mariachi cd in the works!
To
Edith for putting up with my guitar playing in her living room
one too many times. Without her, future works will never be materialized
and full realized for her support means so much me.
Sandra,
me playing Tejano, is that a possibility? Yet, I will say this,
thanks for opening this vato to another genre unknown, yet unexplored,
and for fixing the broken Damon in early October 2002, and waking
up the artist that was temporarily unable to compose anything
from the harsh realities that life unfolds, no matter how unjust
and cruel they may had been.
To
my brother Chris for calling me an arrogant s.o.b. and also for
the many nights I would ruin his quake matches with my musical
antics.
To
everyone else that would take the five minutes out of their lives
and listen to the tunes and make comments, critiques, or just
offer their support. There are too many to mention and everyone
has a place in my heart and thanks once again for being there
for this vato.
