09/00/99- Piece of sh!t car goes into the shop again. This vato shells out 400 bucks in repairs? My asz hurts from getting F@c!!d! 92 topaz=sh!t. Needed 4 new tires, 2 cb joints. Still needs motor mount, transmission mount, and 400 dollars to fix a/c? I think I will drive it till it dies instead?

08/28/99- When a man steps down at work (position) to get further ahead in his education, one should think work takes care of itself? WORK SUCKS! Some employees are going to have a bad day the next few weeks. This captain has the whole crew go down with him!

08/23/99- Fresh from vacation this vato begins his academic pursuit for the third time. AKA my first day in college! What can I say other than those drunken nights in Austin behind this vato, its time to studying. Can I take a full load and work part time? Can I support the beer money by working a mere 24 hrs. week? STAY TUNED?

08/22/99- Man, what to say about Austin, Texas? YOU FREAKING LUSHES! Picture a town for of bars, strip clubs, and more beer? You get Austin! My kind of town if you ask me! I have a few comments. If you want terrible service and even worst food check it out! The highlight of the town was its infamous six street! There ought to be a law against having so many bars at such rock bottom prices all on one street in walking distance. The qoute of the night," I'm walking pretty good aint I?" My Bro who lives there showed me around in class, LUV YOU BRO! The "world famous" Yellow Rose is increduble! Flash dance anyone? Oh yeah, don't eat chinese buffet there...

08/21/99- I drop the ball! In the fourth quarter, last play of the game, quarterback throws me the game winning throw, I drop it? I admit it, I suck? I made a promise, and I failed to deliver. I didn't finish my cd! In the last minute I had too many changes and not enough time? Since I'm not selling it, tough sh!t, you will have to wait! I did manage to burn some cd's with 3 tracks on it. One track which is not included on the "guitar page"?

08/19/99- Saw The Thomas Crown Affair. Not a bad flick! I recommend it for a date movie. It was directed by the man who brought us "Die Hard" (original one, not the crappy airport one.) and more recently "13th Warrior" (some debate that writer Michael C. took over directing after luke warm test audience responses). We can forgive him for "Last Action Hero"? HOOTERS WINGS YUM!

08/18/99- I will in Austin, Tx. till Sunday the 22nd. Please email me for anything. I will check my voicemail once a day, but don't expect a call back! Long distance is expensive! If you are a female in the Austin area, and want to show me the clubs, email me with your pic, phone number, and bra size, and I will give you a call! I wished! Tonight I will visit the state famous "Yellow Rose of Texas"! YIPPIE!! I will be also finishing my cd in Austin! Burning several copies to start, more when I can afford it! Kind of ironic eh? 08/17/99- The desperate attempt to finish the "final" release of my web page, isn't gonna make it in time! I have decided not to work on it Austin so I can focus all my energy to the cd! I have been slacking on it and I will not leave town without a cd in my hand! The set list hasn't changed, I am in the middle of added the last minute additions to the set list!

08/08/99- I finally get around to updating the web site again! The final will be avaible shortly! I find another prank in my car today, another from the Blair Witch Project. A symbol made out of twigs on my car floor. DAMN YOU AGAIN CHRISTINA!

08/07/99- Fellow coworker Chris is leaving the guild. His party was pretty awesome. Any party with "corona" is "A" OKAY with me! Hey man, when do I get my barbaque pit back?

08/06/99- A gift from one guitar to another, student to teacher my complete recording from my upcoming cd to my dad to listen to as his birhtday present. Of course, there were comments. I will forgive him, he wants to get the best out of me. A guitar player of 30 years knows a thing or two? He says "mondo lead" is brillant, "predule" is okay, and the "trio" isn't worth a damn? Wish me luck as the final touches are being added due for release end of august. "American Pie" is the bomb! Go see that movie! NO, not tonight!!

08/05/99- The old man's birthday! Happy Birthday DAD! He is 51. Over a quarter of a century? Man, he is almost twice my age? Are you feeling old now father? I LOVE YOU DAD!

08/04/99- I am enrolled for 13hrs of college. I have split it up in two campus. One for convience, other because of it has more chicas!

08/03/99- My coworkers tend to want to play a cruel and mean joke on me. After a long day at the salt mines, this vato goes to his car. Sure enough I see in front of my car door, a pile of rocks shaped in an upside down cone reminist from the Blair Witch Project. SCREW YOU CHRISTINA! Also I go to my college probation meeting! I have attended a lot of bullsh!t functions before, but that has to be the worst. As if, I'm an idiot or something, I know I did bad in college last semester. TOO MANY PARTIES and TOO MUCH BEER? Its not because I am in idiot? Almost in college!

08/01/99- The Blair Witch Project scared the living sh!t out of me. I haven't ever been as scared in a movie as this one. If you want to cop a feel of a date take her to this movie. Only problem is that you are going to hold on to her, asking her to make it go away! i'm not going to camping for a greeat while!

07/31/99- I finally see "EYES WIDE SHUT"- Stanley Kubrick's final masterpiece. Ever been to the musuem and stared at a painting? While that's pretty much this movie, every shot a work of art! The most outstanding thing about the movie is the lighting and conversative yet striking visuals! To read a not so favorable review check my buddy Jd's review "EYES WHIDE SHUT!". .. Have to give two sides of the story now don't I?

06/20/99- First I have to do a shameless advertising plug here. My best friend Mike is a sales representative for Cutco knives. Those two cd's I bad mouthed yesterday each got favorable reviews in the "Houston Zest". This vato hangs his head low in shame. Call me an as%hole or whatever, but if you can't play an instrument you shouldn't be writing music reviews plain and simple. I'm going to get into trouble for that one, so many music lovers out there? Oh well, I'll try my hardest to sleep tonight! :)~

06/19/99- I have a few comments to make regarding my two cd purchases today. Damn, I thought I've spent thirty dollars more deserving at the tittie bar. First of all, I knew this was a bad cd when I bought it, but I have been a loyal fan for almost ten years- DEF LEPPARD's latest. It's not too bad, but its a step backward from their previous effort "SLANG"? Many fans didn't like "SLANG" because the band progressed to a new sound and new ideas (highly recommended). "EUPHORIA" is like "ADRENALIZE" a half-asz attempt at "HYSTERIA". Which couldn't compare to the classic album that got me started getting into them "PYROMANIA". On a good note, the leads are better than "SLANG" and the guitar is above average as always. Only hard core and 80's style music fans need apply. To be honest, the cd is okay, but I expect "awesome" with every cd they make.

The other cd to complain about (man, I'm on my soap box now) is SANTANNA'S latest. Damn man, can't we have a song with some rhythm chords (as if I can talk)? He just plugs in and jams with the band throughout the whole disc. Not much progressing in his sound. Sounds like the same old Santanna I saw at the Woodlands in 94? To be honest with you, he sounds musically burnt out (composition wise). Despite his lead techniques, he still does them well and his band is in top form! On the first track He harmonizes with the band so well it even shuts this guitar player up. ".....YOU THE MAN SANTANNA!!" But one song can't carry the album. Why in the hell is there rap on your cd?

Sorry to write an editorial on here, but I'm pissed because I blew a lot a money on these cd's? Hell, its amazing that I bought these cds? Since when does Damon pay more than 3 dollars for a cd?

06/18/99- Anyone that knows me, knows my standpoint on religion? I'm all for faith and matters of the bible. Yet, I kept it too myself never preaching out," Christianity or death!" My cousin Bianca Villarreal was rushed to ICU today. Please keep her in your prayers as I have.

06/17/99- Four days of no guitar playing got to this vato, I have given in. I can play guitar for limited sits but I'm doing it very sparely, my hand hurts like a b!tch! After the stitches are off I expect it in final form the first week of July as I finish the CD. August is the target date :) In other news, my web site is getting a complete rewrite this week. When I return to college full time this fall, unfortunately I'm not going to have as much time as I do now (DUH!). Realizing this, I'm working in all my free time to finish the site before I enter college. My goal is to have a finished template of my site. AKA only have to fill in the blanks on "the latest" and such. The site will always be here but graphical updates and new sections will be slower to realization.

06/16/99- The emulation page is no more :( I simply don't that the time to update as much as I like. The good news is, you get all my links :) Go find it!

06/14/99- A freak accident at work, I 'm rushed to the doctor for stitches on my right hand! BUMMER! I can't go to the gym or play guitar for an eternal two weeks? Boy this sets the vato back a lot on projects? :{ I have to type with one hand (get your mind out of the gutter?) which isn't cool let me tell you! Hell, going to the bathroom is a challenge?

06/13/99- Well folks, it's that time again! You guessed it, I re designed the site again! :) Hopefully it gets better every time I do it? Haven't seen such an update since March so enjoy! Email comments or whatever?

05/26/99- Guitar page gets a major face lift. Re designed logo and more news! :)

05/24/99- Gotz me a 16meg nvidia riva tnt 128 bit graphics card! I can now play Quake 1000 or whatever number with full graphics effects! But that also means this site gets a major update in the next few weeks. I have increased my monitor resolution to 1024x768. My web page looks like sh!t on it. I'm now catering to those with higher resolutions. Sorry fans of 640x480, it's time to upgrade?

05/23/99- I really have to stop staying out all night? Thanks to Miss Emma for the advice; drinking lots of water when your drunk avoids a hangover! :) I came home just in time to see the sun raise how pretty?

05/16/99- Site gets another Update; classical, emulators, and guitar page get updated! I finally get a day off after 7 days working non-stop.

05/15/99- "Bleem" is finally released to registered owners. Only if I got my cd yet? My keyboard player leaves me for Dallas, Texas to start over! Bast@rd!! Now I guess I have to play keyboards also in addition to guitar? Got an offer from old boss of mine to play with his "blues assemble". I'll keep you posted on that. Never played blues much, could be fun?

05/14/99- Once again Damon ends up in Galvestion, Texas? Sorry for lack of updates, been very busy working 6 days a week.

04/26/99- Reviews from my rock project have been fantastic! Tears rushing out of eyes, not one bad comment yet, knock on wood! Because of all the positive encouragement of yesterday's release, Tuesday I will upload a piece from my upcoming trio! It's not quite musically ambitious, yet its shows more sophistication. You get to hear me play a relatively new instrument to me, the piano!

04/09/99- The lack of updates have been because I have been sick as hell for the whole week!! I have slept 15 hours days monday and tuesday! Today is the first day I have felt about 70% better. So, I haven't touched any music all week other than talk about it and plan it with my friend Jerry Giles. I'm going to buy a midi keyboard tomorrow, wish me luck as a transpose the trio from guitar to piano. Those that know me, know i can't play the piano that great, but good enough to write.

04/08/99- Jeff Beck visits Houston, Texas!! The show was legendary, as much as my father hyped it. I wanted to throw my guitar out the window and start over!

04/04/99- Easter Sunday! LENT IS OVER!!!!!!!! PASS ME A BEER!! Yes folks, Damon has made it six weeks alcohol and cigarette free!! All I can say to those that had a drinking problem is "look to the future and forget the past!" People say alcohol can make a boring evening to a monstrous event. In answer to that crowd... NOT!! Only you can make the party not your friend Jack! Your friend "Jack" adds inches to the belly and and screws up your driving! By all means I'm still going to drink, but much more responsively.

04/03/99- If you been wondering where is the music, so have I? I recorded another draft of the rock thing, its now at 3 minutes long, but I have one problem, it's 28 meg down load. I don't have to the web space to support it. Any ideas anyone? In other news, I have been fiddling with my future quartet. I have gotten so far as the 2 main themes in the first movement. I have selected my buddy Jerry giles to play piano when I have a written draft (don't hold your breath I play mainly by ear) and it looks like its going to turn into a trio for guitar, piano, and bass.

03/29/99- This page you are reading gets re designed. I also made the new home page 3-D, updated the "classical cd of the week", and section "me".

03/28/99- I finished a rough draft of my rock song project. It measured out to almost three minutes without any planning ( it's pretty much a three minute lead?). I'm going to expand it tomorrow and up load a teaser by the end of the week. To those that know me, its unlike anything I have done before, since when does Damon use distortion and other effects?

03/27/99- Marks a incredible five weeks I have been alcohol and cigarette free! One more week to go! :)

03/26/99- Damon goes to Dallas!! I'm taking a break from all my projects till Sunday evening when I return.

03/25/99- A private beta get up loaded of my redesign of the web page. If you look hard enough, you can find it. In other news, Hector turns 22 today!! NO MORE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS!!

03/24/99- The third movement is started in conjunction with all my other projects. It's to complete that two movement concerto I have written the week before. I'm going to write it in as the second movement and use the remaining second as the finale. Expect a complete version by April first I'm in the middle of removing the extra notes. In other news the "rock" thing is going great!! All is needed is the editing time to compile all the separate tracks together. It's the most rocking thing I have ever done, definitely not Damon? Or is it? by the way, the quartet thing is on hold till the summer! I have no time, I work a full time 9-5 job and all these projects running in different directions.

03/23/99- A working beta of the new web page is up and running, but I'm facing some compatibility problems for those running their display at 640x480? Back to the drawing board! I shall have a working beta up loaded by the end of the week!

03/22/99- Damon acquires an effects board with 60 sampled sounds! What does that mean? Well, it means I have begun on a new song, but wait! It's Rock n' roll? Heaven forbid, Damon is going to record a 5 minute jam using 2 rhythm tracks and a double lead! Wish me luck as I coordinate this with major rewrite of the web page. The new version is to include 5 frame display complete with roll over Java.

03/16/99- Jeff Beck's CD "Who Else" is released in the US!! You know I have my copy! For those that care, it's been nine years since his last full cd release! As far as a review, it's totally wild and alternative, nothing you expect from Jeff. But like the title suggests, "WHO ELSE?"

03/15/99- My sonata is finished but its not a sonata? I scrapped the third movement to save it for my next project and reworked an old theme for the second. It turns out to be a two movement concerto! So when are we going to hear it? I don't know, as soon as I can get an orchestra behind me, which I don't is ever going to happen! So I'm going to record it in solo guitar form and up load it by the end of the week. As far as my next project, its going to be something I have been wanting to do for a year now, its a kind a like a string quartet. But alas, I don't have any classical music friends so its going to be a double guitar, piano, and bass.

03/14/99- Marks three weeks that Damon has been clean and sober. Wish me luck as the Lent season slows down in three weeks. You never know, I might not be a "lush" anymore? Does anyone have a "Miller Lite"?

03/13/99- Damon goes to Killen, Tx. to help his brother Chris move. I even ate at the infamous Luby's? See Damon on world tour, this week Killen, two weeks Dallas, then Cleveland, Tx.

03/09/99- I have joined a new GYM!! This vato has to get in shape for the summer now!! :) For those that care, the treadmill kicks my asz!

03/08/99- For those that wonder why no updates, I have been focusing all my time on my music. It's a new sonata in three movements. I have first and finale in rough form ironing out number two! I'm trying a new approach to it this time, aka more chord based less fury of notes, of course not till the finale! Wish me luck I have an hour worth of music to edit into fifteen minutes! :) By the way, I did add some hovering link tag to the links on the bottom!

03/07/99- Terrible news, a great artist has left the world today.. The infamous Stanley Kubrick died today of natural causes. The world will miss his films. I pray only they don't butcher his last film "Eyes Wide Shut".

02/28/99- Damon's brother moves away from the nest and Damon reclaims his throne!! AKA I have a room now, no more living in the living room!! For those that pity me, I have been living off the couch in the living room for three months now! In other news, my keyboard mysterious dies, and radio shack charges me 10 bucks for two cables, how do those bast_rds sleep at night?
